02.20.12 Mobile Mesonet

Mesonet data, along with National Weather Service radar and forecasts are available for mobile devices.

For those with iPhones, Mesonet has released a new Mesonet iPhone App. To download it, go the the iPhone App Store and search for "Mesonet." The Mesonet app from the Oklahoma Mesonet will be the top choice. This is a free app. With this app, you'll have Mesonet data for your selected Mesonet site, a side scrollable 5-day forecast, Mesonet maps, Oklahoma radar that can be animated, the current advisories and the latest educational weather Ticker.

For mobile users with an Android, Blackberry or Windows Phone, Mesonet has its "m.mesonet.org" mobile website. On this mobile website, you'll find: Mesonet data for your selected Mesonet site, a vertically scrollable 5-day forecast, Mesonet maps, Mesonet time series graphs, Oklahoma and surrounding state radar, Agricultural advisory maps, and Fire Danger maps.

With Mesonet's mobile choices, you can stay on top of Oklahoma weather away from home or office. Mesonet data and maps are updated every 5 minutes. You can select data for any of the Mesonet's 120 tower locations.
