The table below shows the last 10 days of high and low temperature, as well as the daily and accumulated degree days for this model. When the accumulated degree day total reaches 1100, we recommend you start hanging pheremone traps and start monitoring for PNC adults. When the total reaches 1500, start scouting for eggs, and at 1600, start monioring for larvae. According to the model, a degree day total of 1831 indicates the date of first significant entry into the nuts.
